SINGLE PLACEMENT CARE

At SNRCH Residential Home, we are developing a specialist single placement model designed for children and young people who may benefit from a dedicated, low-occupancy environment with highly personalised support.

Our approach is centred around creating a calm, nurturing and emotionally safe home where every aspect of care can be tailored around the individual’s needs, goals, routines and development journey. By focusing on one placement within the home environment, we aim to provide increased consistency, stronger trusted relationships, reduced environmental pressures, and greater opportunities for meaningful progress.

Our planned model is intended to support young people who may benefit from:

• A stable and predictable home environment
• Therapeutic and relationship-led approaches
• Emotional wellbeing and behavioural support
• Education and personal development goals
• Preparation for independence and future transitions

Through close partnership working with local authorities, professionals and wider support networks, SNRCH’s vision is to create an environment where young people feel safe, heard, valued and empowered to thrive.

Behavioural and emotional support is only as strong as the people delivering it. Our training is maintained in-house — meaning every staff member working with a child holds current, operationally grounded knowledge, not a certificate from two years ago.
